Responsibilities:


  • Validate ATE's (Automated Test Equipment).
  • Active participation in NPI.
  • NPI phase failure analysis for process and ATE issues.
  • ATE Development activities.
  • ATE Proto validation.
  • Validate the test plan for new releases in the Test Engineering Lab, Production floor, and CM's (Contract Manufacturers).
  • Identify and report bugs in new releases by raising PRs (Problem Reports).
  • Report the GRR (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility) study in NPI (New Product Introduction) lines.
  • Maintain the Test Lab reports.
  • Inventories management
  • Monitor tester performance stability using CPK analysis.
  • Report Tester Uptime and track bug fixes related to tester downtime.
  • Report Tester & Assembly Cycle Time and track bug fixes related to cycle time.
  • Maintain the Test Lab reports.
  • Perform maintenance of Test Engineering Lab equipment and ensure compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and 5S (a methodology for workplace organization).


Knowledgeable on:

  • NPI activities.
  • ATE installation and troubleshooting of ATE’s.
  • ATE failure analysis.
  • Hands on RF instruments like R&S, PXI, Keysight, Agilent.
  • Tester Gauge Reproducibility & Repeatability (GRR) & Manufacturing Failure Rate (MFR).
  • Tester Downtimes & Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
  • Installation & Maintenance of ATEs.
  • Manufacturing process & test flows in Radios or similar wireless products.
