THE ROLE 👀👀
We are looking for a Lead Video Editor to join our team and work across our key accounts – bringing with them experience in delivering integrated program deliverables (content, IRL, social) with an enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

RESPONSIBILITIES 👀👀
- Creative Collaborator :
Plan and collaborate with Snack team, including producers, editors and motion designers. Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the necessary quality standards. - Editing Assistance :
Work closely with producers & video editors to assist in the editing process, including assembling rough cuts, adding music and sound effects, and incorporating graphics and visual effects. - Quality Control :
Assist in reviewing edited videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines. - File Management :
Manage and maintain project files and assets, ensuring that they are properly organized and archived. Assist in organizing and logging footage to ensure that it is easily accessible for the editing team. - Technical Support :
Provide technical support to the editing team, troubleshooting issues with software, hardware, and file formats as needed.
CREATIVE 🎨
- Edit to a high standard using Adobe Premiere Pro, working across commercial, social and marketing projects.
- Assisting other editors when needed under the direction and guidance
- Maintain the floor, daily tasks distribution and taking care of daily deliveries
- Ad-hoc shoot support duties, such as DITing.
- Keeping up to date with video trends and feeding back in the right forums.
- Colour correction and grading images and videos, conforming to broadcast and social standards and guidelines.
- Sourcing audio tracks and sound mixing edits, creating well mastered tracks across multiple layers.
- Ensuring all content is produced within brand guidelines.
- Minimum 5+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, or agency.
- Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
- High level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere.
- High level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering.
- Passion for social and branded content.
- Be able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and creativity on a daily basis.
ORGANISATION 🍿
- Taking daily responsibility to complete editing tasks.
- Work with internal and external stake-holders to manage projects to a high standard, adhering to Video Team workflows and processes at all times.
- Guiding more junior members of the video team, teaching best practices and maintaining and policing their technical processes.
- Maintain hard-drives and archives.
Software Skills:
After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop.
