PeerCamp is an ed-tech marketplace serving the twin purpose of branding and generating student demands with a unique suite of LMS features, ensuring a seamless teaching experience for educators and organizations. Catering to a vast pool of K-12 students, it is designed for both Indian and international teachers, offering opportunities for knowledge providers in academic and non-academic fields alike. PeerCamp aims to cultivate a new generation of not just upcoming engineers, coders, or CEOs, but also outstanding athletes, musicians, scientists, and experts in any chosen field. We aspire to be the bridge connecting children from diverse communities in India with world-class educators and mentors across the globe. Progress We have gone live with our informational pages and registration process and have the platform ready to display the profiles and gigs of the educators. We have successfully onboarded nearly 200 educators (sellers) and counting more. So in a nutshell, we have the tech team developing the other features, educators/vendors' onboarding, and operations like business development and interaction with interested teachers running smoothly. All this has been achieved while being bootstrapped. Role description - technical Designation: Co-Founder - Technical Expert This is a full-time remote role for a Tech Co-founder at PeerCamp, based in New Delhi with flexibility for remote work and at times a meetup will be good to have. The Tech Co-founder will be responsible for developing and leading the technical aspects of the platform, planning and implementing technology strategies, overseeing product development, and collaborating with the co-founders and other team members to drive innovation and growth. Expectation Technology Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans Team Management and Vendor Selection (when required): Build and lead a high-performing technology team, including developers, engineers, and project managers Determine optimal staffing levels and skill sets required for successful product execution Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and external partners, to provide updates on technological initiatives and progress Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technological initiatives and business objectives Investment Preference Preferably With Investment: We believe that a co-founder with investment is more committed and driven, aligning their personal success with the company’s growth.
