The person will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Admin service delivery in Zeiss, Bangalore HO. in addition to oversee the technical aspects of facility management, and shall ensure operational efficiency and functionality of our infrastructure, focusing on maintaining and optimizing critical system.


Education:
BE- Electrical.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management or a related field.


The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Admin service delivery in ZEISS, Delhi & North region. in addition to oversee the technical aspects of facility management and shall ensure operational efficiency and functionality of our infrastructure, focusing on maintaining and optimizing critical system as well as best industry practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Systems Management:
    Manage and maintain technical systems within facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems (BAS). Ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with regulatory standards.
  2. Equipment Maintenance:
    Oversee the maintenance and repair of technical equipment and machinery. Develop preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
  3. Energy Management:
    Implement energy conservation initiatives and monitor energy usage within facilities. Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  4. Data Center Operations:
    Manage data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of servers, networking equipment, and other critical infrastructure. Implement best practices for data center management.
  5. IT Infrastructure Support:
    Collaborate with IT teams to support and maintain IT infrastructure within facilities, including networks, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems. Ensure integration and compatibility with building systems.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance:
    Ensure technical systems and equipment comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  7. Emergency Response Planning:
    Develop and maintain emergency response plans for technical systems and infrastructure. Coordinate responses to emergencies such as power outages, equipment failures, or natural disasters.
  8. Budget and Vendor Management:
    Develop and manage budgets for technical operations and maintenance. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  9. Facility Operations:
    Oversee day-to-day operations of all facility-related activities.
  • Ensure the building is maintained to high standards, including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Manage building security, including surveillance systems and access controls.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure facilities meet their needs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical facility management or a related field, with a strong understanding of building systems and technical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, building automation, and other technical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to technical facility management.
