Job Title: Manager Operations - MICE Location: Bengaluru Job Type: Full-time Experience Required: 3-5 years

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager Operations for our MICE department, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing MICE activities. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in handling MICE groups, strong negotiation skills, in-depth travel and destination knowledge, hands-on experience with costing, and up-to-date knowledge of visa formalities.

Key Responsibilities: MICE Operations Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute MICE events, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations. Handle large and small group travel arrangements, including conferences, incentive trips, corporate meetings, and exhibitions. Act as the primary point of contact for MICE clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Vendor & Supplier Management: Negotiate effectively with DMCs (Destination Management Companies), hotels, airlines, transportation providers, restaurants, and other service vendors to secure the best rates and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners, ensuring the highest quality and value. Costing & Budget Management: Prepare detailed and accurate costings for MICE projects, ensuring profitability and value for clients. Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality. Conduct regular market research to stay updated on pricing trends and competitor offerings. Travel & Destination Expertise: Demonstrate extensive travel experience and up-to-date knowledge of popular MICE destinations. Advise clients on destination options, logistics, and travel requirements, ensuring seamless travel experiences. Keep abreast of visa regulations and requirements for various destinations to guide clients accurately. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and expectations. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure successful MICE projects. Lead, guide, and mentor junior team members, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and knowledge. Problem Solving & Crisis Management: Quickly resolve any operational issues or challenges that may arise during MICE events. Ensure contingency plans are in place to handle any unforeseen circumstances.

Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of extensive experience in handling MICE groups. Education:

A degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or a related field is preferred. Negotiation Skills:

Proven experience in negotiating with DMCs, hotels, airlines, transportation providers, and other suppliers. Travel Knowledge:

Extensive travel experience and destination knowledge are mandatory, with an understanding of up-to-date visa formalities for most countries. Costing & Budgeting:

Hands-on experience in costing, budget preparation, and financial management. Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively. Attention to Detail:

Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring nothing is overlooked. Problem-Solving:

Ability to handle challenges and emergencies with poise and efficiency. Tech Savvy:

Proficient in using travel management software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
