About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Litigation Specialist

to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking, analytical abilities, and a thorough understanding of both civil and criminal litigation.

Key Responsibilities :

Case Assessment, Research, and Drafting Skills :

Conduct initial case evaluations to assess the merits of the case, predict potential outcomes, and determine the best course of action. Perform thorough legal research using legal databases and tools. Draft clear, concise, and compelling legal documents, including: Statement of Claim Statement of Defense Rejoinders Written Submissions Motions, briefs, legal notices, and replies to legal notices.

Negotiation and Mediation Skills :

Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes to resolve cases favorably without the need for a trial. Maintain effective communication with all involved parties to ensure successful dispute resolution.

Time Management and Organizational Skills :

Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently. Ensure no aspect of any case is neglected, maintaining high standards of organization and attention to detail.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in litigation with a strong understanding of both civil and criminal laws. Proficiency in legal research databases and tools. Excellent drafting and research skills with attention to detail. Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively under pressure.
