Manager - Warehousing & Distribution

<p><strong><u>Role & Responsibilities:-</u></strong></p><ul><li>Oversee/coordinate and manage overall warehouse operations (3PL or otherwise), including import and export activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with import and export regulations, including obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and documentation for customs clearance.</li><li>Manage stock and inventory levels ensuring accurate stock counts through regular cycle stocktakes and reconciliations; with emphasis on safekeeping and systems/process flows</li><li>Optimize logistic performance metrics, such as TATs, lead times and transportation costs & Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies within the warehouse and logistics functions with accurate and quick retrieval documentation.</li><li>Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, shipping, and delivery of goods & maintain accurate records and documentation related to import and export activities, including customs duties, taxes, freight charges and transportation expenses.</li><li>Provide regular reports and updates to management on warehouse, logistics, import, and export operations, including performance metrics and key initiatives including daily schedules and cost analyses</li><li>Coordinate with customers, clients, suppliers, vendors, transporters and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of domestic sales (physical and online) as well as import and export orders.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong><u>Competencies and Skills Required:-</u></strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English</li><li>Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills</li><li>Ability to understand customer (internal and external) needs and deliver solutions.</li><li>Attention to detail, Time Management, Planning & Organizing,cost planning and tracking, Communication, Adaptability & Result Oriented Understanding of market and product.</li><li>Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook</li><li>Ability to oversee all logistics functions including supervision and interface with own team, company colleagues; third party solutions providers for maximum sales and quality service.</li><li>Help achieve budgeted Company topline, and bottom-line targets through effective warehouse and distribution management.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree/MBA</li><li>3-6 years of handling warehouse, logistic & handling import/export</li></ul><p><br></p>
