Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Insurance Management:
Develop and implement insurance strategies that align with the company’s risk management and business objectives, specifically tailored to the manufacturing sector.
Insurance Portfolio Management:
Oversee and manage the company’s corporate insurance portfolio, including property Policy, Marine Policy, liability Policy, Cyber Policy, Crime Policy, workers’ compensation, IAR, CAR, EAR, and other relevant insurance coverages.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential exposures and work with insurance providers to secure appropriate coverage and minimize risk.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers, providers, and consultants to ensure optimal insurance solutions and terms for the company.
Claims Management:
Manage the claims process, including the coordination of information and documentation, to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of insurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and prepare reports on insurance coverage, claims, and risk management activities for senior management.
Operational Coordination:
Work closely with other departments, such as finance, legal, and safety, to integrate insurance strategies with broader operational and risk management initiatives.
Competency :
Excellent knowledge of insurance products, risk management practices, and industry regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and interact effectively with senior management.
