We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society’s needs – today and in the future.Purpose of the JobPerform human health exposure and risk assessments for substance registrations.Provide support to Nouryon’s manufacturing sites regarding human health risk evaluations.About the job (Job Responsibilities)Perform human exposure assessments (e.G. for EU REACH and Nouryon’s Priority Substance Program).Provide support and solutions in human risk assessments including new product development.Provide support to Nouryon’s production sites (local HSE) in understanding (extended) safety data sheets and implementation of required risk management measures.Carry out human health exposure and risk assessments.Advise on safe handling of hazardous substances in production, transport, storage and use or in the event of an accident.Advise on scientifically based (cost-effective) air monitoring strategies.Communicate complex product safety matters simply to business/sites.We believe you bring (Education & Experience):Academic background (MSc or PhD) in toxicology or industrial hygiene.At least 3-5 years of working experience in chemical exposure assessment.Proven experience in human exposure modeling used for regulatory purposes (such as ECETOC TRA, ART, ConsExpo, RiskofDerm etc.) as well as with Chesar.Working experience in environmental exposure modelling (such as use of EUSES) as well as working with the EU IUCLID database.Analytical and organizational skills, able to work independently.Please apply via our online recruitment system.
