Job Description:

We seek a passionate and experienced Head of Mathematics Department (HOD) to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the Mathematics department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education in line with CBSE standards. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating students' mathematical understanding, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for higher education and professional opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:
   

• Lead the Mathematics department, mentoring and supporting teachers to ensure the highest teaching standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the Mathematics curriculum and student outcomes.

1. Curriculum Delivery:
   

• Oversee the planning and implementation of Mathematics lessons that encourage active learning and engagement.
• Ensure the curriculum is up-to-date and aligned with CBSE standards.

1. Lesson Planning:
   

• Develop structured and comprehensive lesson plans.
• Review and approve lesson plans prepared by other Mathematics teachers.

1. Student Assessment:
   

• Evaluate students' progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies to track student performance.

1. Classroom Management:
   

• Enforce the school's policies and disciplinary systems, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Support teachers in managing classroom discipline and creating a conducive learning atmosphere.

1. Parental Communication:
   

• Maintain open and regular communication with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to build a collaborative school community.

1. Professional Development:
   

• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest educational trends.
• Organize and lead professional development sessions for the Mathematics department.

Qualifications:

• Founder Level:
  
• 1-3 years of experience with a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics and B.Ed., responsible for delivering Mathematics content across different grade levels.
• Master Level:
  
• 4-8 years of experience in advanced studies with a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics and B.Ed., with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Developer Level:
  
• 9+ years of experience, a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics with B.Ed or M.Ed, with specialized skills in curriculum development and leadership in the Mathematics department.

Screening Process:

1. Written Test:
   A subject-specific exam assessing proficiency in Mathematics.
2. Proficiency Test:
   Tests for proficiency in MS Office.
3. Reading Test:
   Conducted through Microsoft Teams.
4. Teaching Demonstration:
   Candidates demonstrate teaching skills through a mock class session.
