“Mechanical Engineer”
with expertise in creating/updating, part/assembly drawings along with CAD models. Roles & responsibilities: • Working in a multi-disciplinary team comprising electrical and mechanical engineers. • Work on Mechanical design projects (including Additive manufacturing part design projects). • Work on creating/updating components specification sheets, part/assembly drawings and CAD models. • Prepare presentation and present in design reviews for approvals. • Perform FMEA and provide mitigation strategies to eliminate risks. • Identify and implement best practices to continuously improve efficiency in Engineering/PLM/CAD processes • Monitor and track the progress of different projects; publish weekly reports to stakeholders. Eligibility Criteria: Required Qualifications: • Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with experience of 2-5 years. • Master’s degree will be preferred. • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings .
Mandatory Skills: • Proficient in Creo. • Good knowledge of sheet metals, Machined and plastic parts. • Good understanding of various manufacturing processes. • Knowledge of FEA using Ansys, or similar SW. • Has good communication skills (written & verbal). • Excellent command over Microsoft tools- Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Able to work with limited supervision and an agile environment.
Good to have: • Experience with Additive Manufacturing • Basic understanding of GD&T & Tolerance stack up. • Work on obsolescence activities and electromechanical assemblies. • Understanding of FMEA. • Concept design skills - Should understand concepts while working on new designs and know how to do concepts in new designs. • Hands-on experience in NX.
