About the Job Responsible for closely monitoring commissioning activities at a brown field PTA project site ‐ Effectively monitor a team of pre‐commissioning/ commissioning engineers to deliver successful and safe commissioning activities at a PTA project ‐ Ensure ‘on time in full’ delivery of Contractor’s responsibilities to desired quality in line with contractual obligations of contractor ‐ Co‐ordinate pre‐commissioning/ commissioning activities amongst Contractor, Licensor, Client ‐ Effectively co‐ordinate activities amongst different disciplines of Contractor’s site teams ‐ Generate periodical Progress Reports capturing the key activities at site along with forecast of critical activities ‐ Effectively conduct review meetings (both internal as well as with client) and bring out critical points affecting the pre‐commissioning, plant operation/ quality ‐ Generate and compile requisite documentation for successful hand‐over of plant to the owners ‐ Be able to effectively manage the pre‐commissioning/ commissioning activities documentation ‐ Ensure ALL the pre‐commissioning/ commissioning, HSE, SIMOPS protocols, procedures, methodologies are followed without exception at ALL times during ALL phases of project ‐ Technology excellence in PTA is a MUST ‐ Co‐ordinate the pre‐commissioning, commissioning activities with PMC, Owners, Licensors, Construction teams, Contractors/ sub‐contractors ‐ Lead a multi‐disciplinary team of construction and commissioning engineers during various phases of operation/ commissioning , pre‐commissioning ‐ Ensure Safe conduct of the Pre‐commissioning/ commissioning team at all times during various phases of the operation/ commissioning ‐ Candidate must have excellent communication skills and conflict resolution aptitude ‐ Should be able to execute and supervise dealings in accordance to commissioning guidelines and deadlines. ‐ Should be good in planning strategies to achieve commissioning completion with available resources.
About You: Graduate Chemical Engineer, B.Sc./ Diploma (Chemical) from a reputed institute with 25+ years experience in pre‐commissioning, commissioning, operation of PTA plants. Minimum 5 years as Head of an operating PTA plant of LSTK / EPCM Projects of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals.
