The Operations Executive will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our mutual fund and insurance operations. This role involves handling day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and working closely with various teams to support business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mutual funds and insurance operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Transaction Processing : Handle the end-to-end processing of mutual fund and insurance transactions, including purchase, redemption, and switch orders. Ensure all transactions are accurately processed and settled within the required timelines.

Client Onboarding
: Assist in the onboarding of new clients by verifying documents, setting up accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Data Management
: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client information in the system. Regularly update and reconcile data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Compliance and Reporting
: Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies. Prepare and submit required regulatory and compliance reports on time.
- Client Support
: Address client inquiries related to operations, including account status, transaction history, and other operational matters. Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve any client issues promptly.

Reconciliation
: Perform regular reconciliation of accounts, transaction records, and fund balances. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Risk Management
: Identify potential operational risks and implement controls to mitigate them. Ensure that all processes adhere to risk management policies and procedures.

Process Improvement
:Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows.

Reporting
:Generate and analyze operational reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational efficiency. Provide insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2-3 years of experience in operations within the mutual fund or insurance industry. - Strong understanding of mutual funds, insurance products, and financial markets. - Knowledge of industry regulations, including SEBI, IRDAI, and AMFI guidelines. - Proficient in using financial software and tools; experience with MS Excel, G-Suite and CRM systems - Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
