a. Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all data pipelines. Optimize data workflows and improve data processing speeds.
b. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to support various business applications. Work closely with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into data pipelines. Ensure data models are aligned with business requirements and data governance standards.
c. Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with data scientists to implement and optimize machine learning algorithms. Ensure seamless integration of machine learning models into production environments. Monitor and maintain the performance of machine learning models.
d. Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers and team members. Promote best practices in data engineering and model deployment. Lead by example and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
e. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and machine learning. Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and modeling issues. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years
of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building data pipelines and data modeling. Strong programming skills in languages such as
Python, Java or R
(not exhaustive). Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with
cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
and data warehousing solutions like Big Query. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (
TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
and algorithms. Previous experience in a
data-oriented (credit/fintech) role
is highly desirable
and will be considered an advantageous asset.
