Practice Lead - Wealth And Portfolio Management

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Functional Expertise (80%):
  • Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex client requirements in the context of corporate wealth management and capital markets.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice on wealth management products, services, and emerging market trends.
  • Develop, present, and oversee the implementation of customized wealth management solutions tailored to client needs and objectives.
  • Act as a senior advisor to stakeholders, ensuring the alignment of wealth management strategies with overall business goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices, ensuring all solutions meet these requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  1. Technical Expertise (20%):
  • Evaluate, recommend, and oversee the integration of advanced IT products and technologies in the wealth management sector.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the seamless implementation and optimization of IT solutions within the wealth management infrastructure.
  • Conduct thorough technical assessments and provide strategic insights on the feasibility, implementation, and impact of new technologies.
  • Address and resolve complex technical issues related to wealth management systems and applications.
  • Lead the customization and enhancement of IT products to meet specific and evolving client requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 18+ years of experience in corporate wealth management and capital markets, with a substantial focus on functional strategy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and implementing advanced IT products for wealth management.
  • Extensive knowledge of wealth management strategies, products, services, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to a diverse audience.
  • In-depth understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with leading and emerging wealth management platforms and software.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain as they pertain to wealth management.
  • Proven project management skills, with a history of managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
