As a Program Manager in the Electric Vehicles (EV) domain, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Program Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Management:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.


Team Leadership:

  • Assist in managing project development from beginning to end.
  • Continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.


Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.


Qualifications:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management within the software development industry.
  • Proven experience in managing software engineering projects, including managing remote teams and multiple concurrent projects.


Skills:

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage project teams.
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
