Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning:
    Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
  • Resource Management:
    Coordinate and allocate resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Budget Management:
    Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Public Sector Expertise:
    Understand public sector regulations, policies, and procurement processes. Ensure project compliance with governmental requirements and standards.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address and manage them effectively.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and adherence to project goals and deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and client expectations.
  • Project Reporting:
    Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress, milestones, and any deviations from the plan.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing projects in the public sector or with governmental agencies.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.G., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
