Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Web Project Manager with 2-3 years of experience in managing web application projects, specifically utilizing React.Js, Node.Js, and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development processes, project management methodologies, and will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of web application projects from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

• Define the scope, objectives, and technical deliverables for web application projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned with business objectives.

Team Management:

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including developers, designers, and QA testers.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, especially in areas related to React.Js, Node.Js, and AWS.
• Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress and address any issues or challenges.

Resource Management:

• Allocate and manage technical project resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization.
• Work with department Managers to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
• Monitor resource usage and make adjustments as needed to keep the project on track.

Quality Assurance:

• Establish and maintain quality standards for all project deliverables.
• Oversee testing plans and ensure test validations are performed after each sprint.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that the project output meets or exceeds expectations.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, progress, and any potential issues.
• Translate complex technical information related to React.Js, Node.Js, and AWS into clear and simple terms for stakeholders.
• Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly and effectively.
• Ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Risk Management:

• Identify and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential risks.
• Monitor risk factors and adjust project plans as necessary to mitigate their impact.

Project Execution:

• Oversee the execution of all project tasks and activities, ensuring that milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Apply Agile frameworks and organize the project into sprints for efficient execution.
• Manage the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the project, ensuring that all requirements are met.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and progress reports.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in web application project management, with hands-on experience in managing projects using React.Js, Node.Js, and AWS.
• Strong understanding of web development processes and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, with the ability to act as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Experience in UX research and UI development is a plus.
