Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated QA Analyst to join our team on-site at our Surat office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a particular focus on requirement analysis, test planning, and exploratory testing. In this role, you will work closely with our product management and development teams to ensure that our platform meets both technical specifications and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases that align with project goals and timelines.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Track and manage defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide regular feedback and updates to stakeholders, ensuring that testing efforts align with business priorities and product objectives.
• Continuously improve the QA process by identifying gaps and proposing new tools and methodologies.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA testers, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the team remains motivated and productive.
• Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline the testing process and reduce manual effort.
• Organize and prioritize testing activities, ensuring that all critical areas are covered and that the testing schedule aligns with project deadlines.
• Proactively identify potential issues in both the application and testing processes, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Capable of taking disciplinary actions if required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a QA Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Surat and commit to a full-time in-office position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the e-commerce industry, particularly in platforms similar to C2C marketplaces.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing processes.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proven experience in leading QA teams and driving projects to successful completion.
• Extensive knowledge of automation tools and frameworks, with hands-on experience in implementing automated test scripts.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
