POSITION SUMMARY

The QA Manager – Automation will manage highly specialized, highly technical professionals who supports and development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework to ensure and continuously improve quality of assigned products using automated approach.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium using Java/JavaScript, Appium etc.).
  • Experience with Automation Framework design and practices
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools for automation pipeline setup (ex. Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Hands-on experience on Linux Environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and their application to testing and automation.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in relevant technology and industry


PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.

  • Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.

  • Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues.

  • Assessing the product specifications of the company and comparing with customer requirements.

  • Ensuring compliance with CMMi standards set by the company.

  • Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.

  • Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.

  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.

  • Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.

  • Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.

  • Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.

  • Supervising quality assurance/control staff in carrying out tests and checks.

  • Writing technical and management systems reports.

  • Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures.

  • Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.

  • Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications.

  • Establishing standards of service for customers or clients.

  • Preparing clear explanatory documents such as customers' charters.

  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

  • Ensures delivery against QA department goals and objectives, i.e. Meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule. Provides necessary definition, development and deployment of product quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product development. Directly supervises quality assurance team lead, quality assurance engineers and testers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities.

  • Provides leadership by encouraging the commitment and technical growth of system professionals to contribute to the successful achievement of quality maintenance and development activities.

  • Manages the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.
