Summary The ideal candidate will be carrying out following responsibilities and work as an Quality Control Coordinator – Electrical and Instrumentation. This position is open for

Bangalore/Chennai location.

Responsibilities Before starting manufacturing activities, a deep check of applicable project specifications detecting inconsistencies among different specifications, statements hard to understand or comply with. Verify that the quality control requirements of design codes and project specifications have been included in the Purchase Order Plan, manage and define the shop inspector visits to Vendor premises to fulfil the contractual Inspection and Test Plan of the Purchase Order Review quality control records and Vendor Documents related with the activities in the scope of Inspection Department Lead the Pre-Inspection Meeting before the starting of the fabrication to the Purchase Order Review and distribute the inspection reports produced by the on-shop inspector Manage any eventual Non-Conformity Report issued by the on-shop inspector Review the Final Quality Dossier of the Purchase Orders Liase with the Project Team to solve any quality control matter that happens during the life cycle of the Purchase Order Liase with Client´s quality control representative and Vendor´s quality control personnel. Typical commodities to handle electrical equipment, transformers, switchgears, instruments, MAC/DCS, electrical and instrumentation cables, fiber optic cables, telecommunication systems

Technical Skills & Requirements Bachelor´s degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent Experience in most used E&I equipment in Oil and Gas Industry (Electrical Equipment, Transformers, Switchgears, Instruments…) QMS lead auditor for ISO 9001:2015 10 years’ experience in Inspection activities in a EPC contractor or reputated fabricators in Oil and Gas sector Deep Knowledge of E&I normative and standards: IEC, IEE, ISA Sound knowledge of electrical hazardous area classifications: ATEC, IECEx Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI Codes Experience in most used E&I equipment in Oil and Gas Industry (Electrical Equipment, Transformers, Switchgears, Instruments…)
