o9 Solution’s is seeking an experienced and creative Talent Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences that drive knowledge retention and skill development. They will display the confidence to effectively lead the training sessions they design, while collaborating closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to assess learning needs, formulate curriculum, and create innovative training materials.

What you’ll do in this role:

Develop and deliver innovative and effective training programs, workshops, and learning materials that are engaging and tailored to meet the needs of various departments and skill levels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify learning objectives, content, and delivery methods for training initiatives. Create material/media using a variety of instructional strategies to support learning (audio, video, simulations, role plays, scenario-based, microlearning, games, etc.). Determine the criteria used to evaluate learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments. Continuously evaluate and improve instructional materials and programs based on learner feedback, performance KPIs, training ROI analysis, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Manage external vendor relationships in respect of outsourced core parts of the training content. Lead as the subject matter expert during planning discussions and educate/lead decision outcomes as required. Use a variety of instructional techniques to engage participants and facilitate learning, including visual aids, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Collaborate with the Training Coordinator to maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress. Ensure that training materials and equipment are available, up-to-date and in good working order, as needed to be used in training session facilitation Provide support to employees as they apply new knowledge and skills on the job. Maintain all team SOPs related to delivery and implementation of training programs

What you’ll have:

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, organizational development, education, communication or related field preferred Minimum of 7 years professional experience with creating learning experiences, storyboarding, completing visual designs, and training deliverables Demonstrated LMS systems management experience, including administration, troubleshooting, and optimization High level of proficiency with content authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Lectora, Adobe Captivate, Evolve, etc) In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories Experience in conducting needs analysis Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, or something similar. Proven ability to identify program/process issues, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively Cross-cultural competence and experience designing learning experiences for diverse audiences, including flexibility to work across regional time zones Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
