Resident Engineer - Multi Modal Expert

Inviting applications for Multi Modal Expert for our ongoing project of General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for Surat Metro Phase-I

Responsibilities:

He will broadly participate in the following major tasks:

• Interface and co-ordination with architectural subgroup and supervision for multi modal integration at station (upcoming & planned).
• Responsible for supervision of transport aspects of the metro stations including access, pick up/Drop off, Parking and Temporary Traffic Management during construction.
• Responsible for supervising all traffic surveys at site along the project corridor & effected area, travel demand forecasting and planning the overall project corridor to capture the maximum possible demand.

Task Assigned:

• Multimodal Expert will assist Multimodal Expert, Project Director and Deputy Project Directors in management and interpretation of all integration related to connect all public services with one network.
• Interface and co-ordination with architectural subgroup and supervising facilities for multi modal integration at station (upcoming & planned).
• Supervise the station layout and multi modal integration (physical and network integration) layout so as to improves transit service quality and pass on maximum benefit to the commuters in line with the relevant guidelines.
• Review and provide value addition relevant to his activity
• Ensure he/ she must have gone through Business Ethics and compliance training
• Each individual had gone through the Anti-Corruption training.

Minimum Qualification:

• Graduate (Mechanical) from a reputed institution
• Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 5 years experience should be in the integration and transport planning of rail based transit;
  and should also possessmultimodal experience in at least six metro rail project.

• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
