Inviting applications for the role of Lean Digital Transformation (RTR)


The Record to Report (R2R) Transformation Lead is responsible for driving strategic transformation within the Finance and Accounts function. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, systems, and technologies to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of R2R processes, leveraging automation and digital tools to enhance overall financial performance.


Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive R2R transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, digitalization, and data analytics.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments for proposed initiatives.

Process Improvement:

  • Lead the redesign and optimization of R2R processes, including transaction processing, account reconciliations, financial closing, and reporting.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Leading end-to-end business solution activities including mapping, creating, reviewing, controlling, improving processes and technology
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure R2R performance and drive continuous improvement.

System Implementation:

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and configuration of R2R systems and tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration of systems with other finance and accounting applications.
  • Provide ongoing system support and training to the finance team.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing R2R transformation team.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Change Management:

  • Develop and execute a change management plan to support R2R transformation initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build consensus and support.
  • Manage resistance to change and mitigate potential risks.

Compliance and Control:

  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the R2R process.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on R2R processes.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies ( Six Sigma Black / Green belt certified ).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial data analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field;
    MBA preferred.
  • Prior Project management or Transformation experience with at least 12+ years of experience in Automation / Process excellence and preferably in finance domain
  • Fantastic interpersonal skills – communicating value/adapting communication to front line managers through CFO

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be comfortable working with large volumes of data.
  • Excellent customer facing skills (executive presence, ability to listen and address specific problems, articulate acceptable and reasonable solution.)
