About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to establish and lead the Quality Assurance/Quality Control function for our Private Label products in both Food and Non-Food categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of setting up quality systems from scratch and driving continuous improvement. This role will focus on developing and implementing best practices, processes, and standards to ensure product and process quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Acting as the Centre of Excellence (CoE), the Quality Management Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party manufacturers to maintain and elevate quality standards.
Key Deliverables (What Will You Do) Establish and lead the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Quality Assurance/Quality Control, defining the vision, goals, and strategies to achieve quality excellence across the Private Label product portfolio. Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide leadership and guidance to the QA/QC team and third-party manufacturing partners to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Oversee the creation and execution of quality control processes, including in-process testing and finished product evaluation. Conduct regular audits and inspections of third-party manufacturing partners to assess compliance with quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions.
Job Specification (What Will You Need) 14-16 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the FMCG industry, with at least 2+ years in a CoE leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in food science (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in setting up quality systems from scratch and handling multiple product categories. Six Sigma Green/ Black Belt certification is desirable. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).
