It is a is a leading business conglomerate with a group turnover of Rs. 12,080 crores. Send CV to DESIGNATION: Section Incharge Process LOCATION: Kota EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: B.Tech / BE or equivalent (Chemical) EXPERIENCE: 18+ years Reported by: Direct: 4 (Section Incharge – 4), Indirect: 12 (Foreman – 4, Panel Foreman – 8) Job Summary: To ensure production of cost effective and high quality urea in accordance with the production targets and plans by effectively managing the resources of materials, machines and people safely in a non-polluting environment keeping in view the statutory compliance. Heads of maintenance departments in Common Services for planned and breakdown maintenance. HOD R&D for developmental activities. Heads of departments such as Human Resources, Accounts, Security, Purchase, Administration and Stores. Government agencies such as Boiler Inspector, and Pollution Control Board. Contractors and vendors for plant purchases and maintenance. Other fertiliser plants for understanding industry best practices and mutual help. REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE People orientation: Ensure a healthy Industrial Relations atmosphere in the plant through handling employee grievances, organising get-togethers and providing support to the plant staff and their families on an ongoing basis. Plan for the succession of the personnel in the plant. Review performance of direct reportees and provide development inputs through identification of training needs and nominating for training programmes and organising in house training programs. Financial: Carry out the financial planning for the urea plant with respect to production and maintenance, manpower and other fixed costs. Manage the plan expenditures for the plant. Core operational accountabilities: - Process monitoring Make systems and procedures for daily monitoring of all operational parameters for achieving the above strategic objectives to take necessary corrective actions for the same. - Process improvement To organize periodic brainstorming and technical discussion sessions to Identify, conceptualise, evaluate, implement, and monitor the progress of specific projects for process improvement as well as the improvement of safety and environment, review of cost data and making operational changes in processes Evaluate new technologies that can be used to upgrade the plant manufacturing processes for achieving higher production efficiency safely and in environment friendly manner at minimum cost. Assess safety and environment hazards and initiate actions for their improvement. Ensuring statutory compliances such as factories act, IBR etc. - Maintenance Coordination Providing equipments for maintenance in safe & isolated condition & coordinate with common services - Inventory planning and procurement support Carry out daily reviews of existing stock to ensure that the plant is getting the supply of necessary material inputs as per the production requirements. PREFERRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE Hands on experience of operating the plant. Knowledge of budgeting and costing processes. Knowledge of Maintenance processes including Total Preventive Maintenance. Experience on different machines such as rotating and reciprocating compressors and pumps, cryogenic operations, fired heaters, reactors, distillation/ stripping columns etc. Knowledge of statutory requirement for compliance to factory laws, labour laws etc. Solicits and/or provides information that could affect the planning, programs and decision-making for the organization to improve the performance. Creates measures of excellence and benchmarks for improved performance incorporating the latest developments and trends. Maintain cordial relations with the employees and customers, demonstrating in depth understanding of issues related to employees and customers. Benefits
