Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure alignment with accounting standards and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS). Oversee the preparation and submission of relevant tax filings and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and management of budgets specific to EdTech projects and initiatives. Monitor financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities. Offer actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards. Assist with audits and ensure all financial practices are up-to-date with EdTech industry requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. Experience in the EdTech industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, including GST, TDS, and IND AS.
  • Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Experience with EdTech financial systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
