About the Role:
The Alteryx Developer Systems Analyst is responsible for creating new Alteryx Workflows as per the client requirements. Alteryx Designer Analyst will deliver clear analysis, test plans, and standard operating procedures which accurately reflect the technical capacities of the system and address the requirements of the client. The Alteryx Designer Analyst will also be responsible for coordinating and coaching other team members on Alteryx Tools.

Responsibilities:

• Understand a client’s business and functional requirements for their benefits plan and translate those requirements into system specifications.
• Design, update, and deliver Alteryx Workflows basis on the client need.
• Review analysis and test plan documentation created by others and evaluate the results of test execution.
• Translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
• Manage, monitor, and ensure the security and privacy of data to satisfy business need.
• Creating complex Alteryx workflows, using Macros.
• Coordinate and coach other team members on Alteryx Tools.
• Assist with the deployment (or migration) of new system updates into the production environment.
• Provide service specific expertise for data, foundation, and systems analysis and incorporate recommended updates to analysis based on review.
• Coordinate the work of aligned team members, monitor task completion, and communicate team schedule and status.
• Support production environment (defects and trends) and execute workflow and defect management.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:
3-7 years related work experience

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge of Alteryx Tools, In/Out tools - Browse, Input Data, Output Data, Text Input. Join tools - Append Fields, Find Replace, Join, Union. Preparation tools - Data Cleansing, Filter, Formula, sample, Select, Records, Sort, Unique. Transform tools - Count Records, Cross Tab, Summarize, Transpose. Parse tools - DateTime, Text to Column. General tools - Comment, Tool Container. …Etc.
• Hands on work experience using Basic Data Prep & Blending, Alteryx for Excel Users, Use of Reporting Tools, Basic Data Prep & Blending, Python in Alteryx, Predictive - Time Series, Linear and Logistic Regression, Parsing – Regex, Use of Spatial Tools, Fuzzy Mapping, Analytics Apps, Macros - Standard, Batch, Iterative etc.
• Good knowledge of using Python in Alteryx and making connection with the database and data portals.
• Knowledge connecting with database and JAMA Portals to fetch data (creation of JAMA API).
• Good knowledge of JAMA API Creation and Advanced Data Preparation.
• Knowledge of system capabilities and functionality.
• Experience with project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
• Ability to translate client requirements and/or legislation into system specifications and test plan.
• Understanding of different file formats and structures as well as understanding of data models.
• Relational database experience, preferably SQL Server.

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum 3-4 year of experience in US/CAN Benefits Domain and Benefits Administration.
• Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles/concepts.
• Understands processing associated with standard batch processing flows, Uses in-house software to build batch jobs.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
