Responsibilities

INI is seeking a dynamic, highly collaborative, and creative Senior Architect/Project Manager to join our design practice group in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate shall plan, develop, organize, and supervise the design and construction efforts for all projects within a specific region. This will involve coordinating all design efforts as well as overall management of field construction activities. Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of a project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. In conjunction with the Architectural Manager, ensure all design activities are completed accurately and on time in accordance with the master schedule. Modify schedules or plans as required. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards for the project. In conjunction with the Senior PM, monitor/control construction to ensure the project is designed and built on schedule and within budget. Confer with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority, provide technical advice, and resolve problems. May manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest and maintain good relationships with clients. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives.


Qualifications

  • The successful candidate shall have B.Arch / M.Arch / M.UD degree with a Minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
  • Proven expertise in leading the design and delivery of complex projects, from concept through construction administration.
  • The candidate should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through construction administration, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • The candidate should have strong communication, interpretational, and negotiation skills.
  • LEED accreditation and knowledge of sustainable design practices are preferred.
