Responsibilities Work closely with finance executives to design their future state finance processes Help clients elevate their role by building capabilities and undertaking finance transformation journeys (strategy, implementation, and operations) Assist clients in defining their finance technology implementation strategy and end-to-end finance business processes to align with overall future state vision and digital ambitions. Act as the finance specialist and advise on large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and adjacent digital technology deployments, and liaise between business & ERP/systems implementation teams Liaise between finance executives, solution architects, and ERP/system implementation teams to ensure finance priorities are understood and aligned to define current and future state processes, alignment to standard functionality, and impacts to the finance business teams. Analyze and design finance data models to support ERP/systems and broader Finance requirements (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, profit centers, products, customers, etc.). Identify and implement Key Performance Indictors and metrics for the new ERP ecosystem, as well as capture and communicate the value to the stakeholders. Conduct analysis and optimization of processes and policies through the lens of ERP/ system enablement, specific to Planning, budgeting, and forecasting, Business Unit Finance, Record to Report process (including close & consolidation), Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Revenue or Cost Accounting / Allocations, and Management reporting and analytics design
Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field 3-5 years of relevant Finance Transformation experience CA/CMA/CFA (Preferred) Strong understanding of ERP/systems aligned to at least one critical business process (Record to Report, Order to Collect, Procure to Pay, Specialized Finance, FP&A) Good understanding of finance end-to-end processes and the ability to align ERP 'out of the box' functionality with desired Finance future state capabilities Excellent written and oral communication skills to engage internal and client stakeholders effectively and drive design consensus Ability to navigate in complex global transformations engagements to drive impact Experience creating the following deliverables: Business Case, Business Process Mapping & Definition, Business Requirement/Specification Document, Functional Requirement/Specification Document, Gap & Pain Points Identification and Process Improvement Recommendations
Preferred Experience:
Experience with Agile program delivery Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements Strong Finance functional specialization in at least one ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Ability to define and dialogue on benefits of technology solutions and its impact on business and Finance processes Practical experience in Finance Operations, Finance system transformation, FP&A, or EPM Experience with 'Finance in a Digital World' technologies such as process automation through robotics, predictive analytics, and visualization, etc. Strong understanding of industry-specific finance process depth in one or more key industries (Consumer & Industrial Products, Financial Services Industry, Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications, Life Sciences & HealthCare, etc.) Strong foundation in core consulting skills such as problem-solving, strategic thinking, effective communication, and robust proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel Exposure to working in non-India Geographies (preferably the US) and/or interacting with Global stakeholders
