Job Summary:

The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations which manufactures Aerospace Precision components, ensuring that production targets are met with the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, with a focus on optimizing end-to-end processes, from the front door to the back, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Head will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management: Lead and manage all plant operations to meet production targets. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with company goals. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet or exceed aerospace industry quality standards. Implement and maintain quality management systems, including regular audits and corrective actions. Collaborate with the quality team to address any issues and ensure continuous improvement. Process Optimization: Oversee the entire production process from front door to back, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in manufacturing. Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and drive waste reduction across the plant. Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments. Reporting and Compliance: Provide regular reports on plant performance, including production, quality, and safety metrics. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies, including health and safety standards. Act as the primary point of contact for plant-related issues, reporting directly to [Your Position Title]. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior management, customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment on objectives and expectations. Represent the plant in meetings with key stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Considerable Years of experience in plant management, with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing. Proven track record of achieving operational targets and improving plant performance. In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

Plants based at Medak and other location May require travel to other facilities or customer sites as needed.
