<p>About the role:</p><p>We are looking for a Senior Manager - HR who will be responsible for driving the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive learning and development programs within the organization that support the growth, capacity-building, and effectivenessof the organization's staff and volunteers. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the</p><p>skills, knowledge, and capabilities of individuals within the NGO, ultimately contributing to the achievement of its mission and objectives.</p><p><br></p><p>Your role to supplement the Organisational goals:</p><p> Develop and execute an L&D strategy aligned with the NGO's mission, values, and goals.</p><p> Collaborate with department heads, program managers, and volunteers to identify learning needs, gather insights, and align L&D efforts with organisational priorities.</p><p> Forecasting talent requirements and budgeting.</p><p> Design, deliver, and facilitate training programs that support staff and volunteer development, covering areas such as leadership, project management, advocacy, fundraising, and program implementation.</p><p> Collaborate with subject matter experts both within and outside the organization to provide specialised training on relevant topics.</p><p> Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization by promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.</p><p> Develop mechanisms for assessing the effectiveness and impact of training initiatives, including collecting feedback, measuring outcomes, and making improvements based on data.</p><p> Regularly evaluate the progress and results of learning programs and share insights with stakeholders.</p><p> Source and utilise external training resources, materials, and partnerships when needed.</p><p> Utilise technology and digital platforms to enhance the delivery and accessibility of learning programs, particularly for remote and field-based staff and volunteers.</p><p> Design and implementation of overall Talent strategy for the organisation</p><p> Design and implementation of HR systems and processes towards scaling of theorganisation</p><p><br></p><p>Who we are looking for:</p><p> Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.</p><p> 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Preferably experience in designing and managing learning and development programs, preferably within the nonprofit or NGO sector.</p><p> Strong understanding of adult learning principles, participatory training methods, and culturally sensitive approaches.</p><p> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p> Demonstrated commitment to social impact, social justice, and the values of the NGO sector.</p><p> Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), online collaboration tools, and e-learning platforms.</p><p> Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.</p><p> Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs and emerging trends in nonprofit L&D.</p><p> Experience working in cross-cultural contexts is a plus.</p><p> Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.</p><p> Sincerely passionate about L&D and making a change.</p><p> Experience in talent management, performance management, and employee engagement.</p><p> Knowledge of change management principles and organizational development.</p><p> Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</p>
