Role Summary:

The Organization Development (OD) Manager will play a critical role in driving the continuous development and transformation of Bonfiglioli’s workforce in Chennai. Reporting to the Head of HR, this position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing organizational development strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness, culture, and employee engagement. The OD Manager will work closely with leadership teams to align business goals with employee development initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


Organizational Strategy & Development:

  • Collaborate with the Head of HR and senior leadership to identify and assess organizational needs and develop comprehensive OD strategies that support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and foster a culture of adaptability.

Leadership Development:

  • Design and deliver leadership development programs aimed at cultivating future leaders within the organization.
  • Coach and mentor managers and leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities, ensuring alignment with organization's values and goals.

Talent Management:

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to develop talent management programs, including succession planning, career development, and performance management.
  • Conduct talent assessments to identify high-potential employees and create personalized development plans.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance workplace culture, increase job satisfaction, and reduce turnover.
  • Lead initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the organization.

Training & Development:

  • Design and manage training programs to develop employees' skills, knowledge, and competencies in line with organizational needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify them as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Organizational Effectiveness:

  • Analyze and assess organizational structures, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Change Management:

  • Lead change management initiatives by developing communication plans, training programs, and support systems to facilitate organizational change.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment of OD initiatives with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders on matters related to organizational development, culture, and employee engagement.


Qualifications & Experience:


Educational Background:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in organizational development, human resources, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives, talent management, and leadership development programs.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of OD theories, models, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in using HR software, talent management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
