We are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager specializing in Software Delivery to oversee our software development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. As a Senior Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products. You will also contribute towards the product roadmap for the team you are responsible for.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects, from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Drive program execution by setting clear goals, defining key milestones, and monitoring progress against established metrics.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, engineering teams, and business leaders.

Communicate program status, priorities, and dependencies to stakeholders through regular updates, presentations, and reports.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Solicit feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and optimize program delivery processes.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements, review architecture designs, and address technical challenges.

Provide guidance and support to project teams on technical matters, ensuring adherence to coding standards, scalability, and performance requirements.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to drive innovation and improve software delivery processes.

Comprehensive product management oversight to maintain product vision, roadmap

Champion Agile and DevOps practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the department and the organization

Develop domain knowledge to effectively drive the teams, products and operations, as required

Contribute to organizational initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

Engineering degree (BE/B-tech) with 15 -20 years of related work experience.

Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and delivery

Play the role of a tech project manager, where required

Good to have experience in automotive OEM or manufacturing side with domain exposure to Finance, HR and Procurement.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Demonstrate proactive conduct commensurate to the role of a Senior Manager

Understand organization culture and drive a healthy work environment within the team and department

Certification in project management (PMP, PgMP) or Agile (CSM, PSM) is a plus.
