We seek a Full-time, Remote Frontend React Web Developer to join our team. The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining user interfaces and components using React. Our application is currently deployed using React.js; however, experience with TypeScript or React.ts is also valuable.
The developer will primarily collaborate with our design team, which provides design files in Figma. The developer is expected to implement these designs using React libraries, such as Material UI. Additionally, the developer will be involved in optimizing the applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Initial Project: The first project will involve redesigning our current public website. The hired developer will create an interactive webpage based on provided Figma designs and other branding materials, employing modern styling libraries and best practices. While any suitable library can be used for development, our lead designer has experience with Ant Design and Mantine and suggests their use.
The developer will collaborate closely with our design and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend functionalities. Initially, the primary interaction will be with our lead designer. Candidates demonstrating technical skills, work ethic, initiative, and leadership potential will be considered for future promotions.
Required Qualifications Frontend Web Development Skills: A portfolio of past projects is required and will be reviewed during the interview. Experience: At least 5 years in web development (a Bachelor’s degree or certificate with an equivalent portfolio of projects is acceptable). Proficiency in JavaScript and React.js. Experience collaborating with design teams and familiarity with Figma: Please bring any initial designs used to develop past portfolio projects to the interview. Experience with React UI component libraries: Such as Material UI, Ant Design, Mantine, React-Bootstrap, etc. Experience using version-control systems: Such as GitHub. Experience with RESTful APIs: Collaborating with architecture and backend development teams. General knowledge of backend web development and software development principles.
