As a Senior Systems Integration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by performing multi-system integration, developing factory acceptance test plans, conducting factory acceptance testing, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering the engineered telecommunications, security, and safety systems to achieve project objectives within established timelines.
The Solutions Application & Test Centre (SATC), a critical part of our company, primarily focuses on the implementation and rigorous testing of network backbone systems, communications infrastructure, and safety, security, and surveillance solutions. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for managing testing and commissioning processes for multiple projects. This includes overseeing stages from pre-commissioning through to the final client handover post-Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in line with project specifications and customer expectations. Plan, test, and commission systems at the System Integration Centre (SIC). Provide technical guidance to engineers and installation instructions to technicians at the SIC. Collaborate with the Design (engineering) team during system integration to meet project requirements. Understand project certification requirements and ensure compliance during the integration phase. Coordinate with the logistics team for material tracking and management. Conduct testing, coordination, fault reporting, and follow-up as needed for incoming materials. Create and maintain integration-specific documents during the integration process. Manage integration inventory, including test equipment and calibration. Coordinate with vendors during integration, commissioning, and testing activities. Prepare regular integration status and progress reports. Conduct FAT with customers at the SIC.
Must-Have Skills: IP networking architecture and products, e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, and WAPs. IP Telephony and VCS Should be competent and have a strong foundation in Engineering concepts pertaining to systems deployed in mission-critical sectors. An innate drive to update knowledge on relevant new technology and applicable standards. Have an exceptional capacity for managing simultaneous activities and challenges. Resilience and proactivity in workload management are essential.
Nice-to-have Skills: Security & surveillance systems such as CCTV / ACS / IDS / PSIM Optical fiber-based transmission systems such as DWDM / SDH / OTN PAGA / PEAS Structured Cabling Systems Site commissioning experience in one or many of the following systems: LAN / Telephony / PSIM / Access Control / CCTV / PAGA / VoIP / SDH / IDS
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Commissioning Engineer. Cisco CCNP/ CCIE (Networking/ Voice/ Security) or equivalent industry certifications (valid). Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills. Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
