What You Will Do As a Senior UI Designer at our firm, you will play a critical role in translating wireframes into compelling visual designs for enterprise-scale websites. Your expertise in digital design systems, user experience, understanding of complex website components, and commitment to component-based design principles will drive the creation of seamless, user-centric digital experiences. Working in close collaboration with our UX team, you'll leverage your user-centered design skills to produce cutting-edge designs that exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with our UX team to understand wireframes and user journeys, ensuring a smooth and comprehensive transition from wireframes to visual designs. Understand user requirements and goals in collaboration with UX Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the website will function and appear to users Design digital user interface elements and components including headers, megamenus, footers, hero units, carousels, grids, feature lists, and more. Demonstrate a deep understanding of website complexities and design considerations, optimizing designs for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility. Implement component-based design principles, considering various component variants and interactions to ensure consistency and scalability across the website. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images Work closely with front-end developers to provide design assets, specifications, and guidance throughout the development process. Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance your design skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team. Collaborate with clients to understand their brand, goals, and design preferences, incorporating feedback into the design process effectively. Participate in design critiques and contribute constructively to team discussions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Design, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered. Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience working as a UI designer on digital products. A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing enterprise-scale websites, demonstrating a keen eye for detail, creativity, and user-centric design. A solid understanding of both UX, UI, User flows and user goals as well as ADA compliant standards Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma and the Adobe creative suite Expertise in component libraries in Figma Experience working with wireframes and prototypes, preferably in Figma, and collaborating closely with UX teams. In-depth understanding of website components, layouts, and interaction design principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. Present your work to multiple teams, including non-design audiences, with the ability to advocate for your design decisions. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward challenges.
