Software Engineering Senior Analyst

Position Overview:

In this role, the full-stack engineer is responsible for the delivery of a business need end-to-end starting from understanding the requirements to deploying the software into production.

This role should be able to articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern daily. They have ownership over their work tasks, and embrace interacting with all levels of the team and raise challenges when necessary.

The ideal team member will be creative, responsive, flexible, and willing to participate in an open and collaborative peer environment. The candidate will participate for alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solution.

This is a hands-on position working with very fast pace high performing team with latest technologies such as Angular, Node, Python, AWS, cloud, others.

Responsibilities:

• Design the solution independently.
• Develop referenceable & modular code.
• Support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery.
• Aligns engineering solutions with the Technology strategy and supports the application’s requirements.
• Review user stories/requirements to identify ambiguities.
• Identifies opportunities and drives process improvements.
• Takes accountability for the technology assets owned by the team.
• Participate in building key frameworks, including DevOps/testing automation, and patterns that promote modularity, configurability, reusability, reliability, and telemetry.
• Think outside of the box to simplify the current environment for better manageability and support.
• Focus on continuous learning and technical skill development through knowledge of new applications and methods.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex and technical information in an understandable way.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Must have very good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concept.
• Must have some level of experience in the following technologies- Angular (Mandatory), Node or Python, AWS or Open shift (around 1 year of relevant experience is good), microservice, Oracle.
• Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior / test driven development, and specification by example.

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years prior experience in application design, delivery, leading teams, working on challenging problems at scale.
• Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility with business users/stakeholders.
• Experience in working on AWS services like S3, VPC, glue, lambda, DynamoDB.?
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs.
