Full-time position based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Must be well experienced in Oriental Western Cuisine. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a busy and high-volume kitchen</li><li>Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices</li><li>Excellent leadership and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices</li><li>Creative mindset and ability to develop innovative dishes</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the quality of food preparation and presentation</li><li>Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations</li><li>Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus that are tailored to meet the needs and preferences of the clients</li><li>Ensure food safety standards and regulations are strictly followed in the kitchen</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and place orders for kitchen supplies as needed</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment</li><li>Contribute to the development of new menu items and specials</li><li>Manage and minimize food wastage to maximize profitability</li><li>Work closely with the front of house staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and customer satisfaction</li><li>Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu items</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
