- Build Tolerance simulation/analysis models in 3D software environment.
- Pre-Tolerance document, which captures datum targets and GD&T callouts of the component.
- Maintain and perform analysis according to Measurement Points document.
- Monte Carlo simulations (sigma, STD DEV, Contributors analysis)
- Attend project regular meetings, understand and gather necessary inputs, resolve queries.
- Interact closely with local and onsite counterparts, ME engineers, suppliers, etc.
- Plastic and Sheet metal components manufacturing process knowledge.
- Measurements tools knowledge – CMM, OMM, X-Ray and Measurement report analysis
- GD&T Drawing reading with functional dimensional scheme
- Tolerance Stack calculation for all critical functional and craftsmanship requirements.
- Review of Measurement System in line with GD&T.
- Review of Checking Fixture scheme in line with GD&T
- Experience with automotive assembly processes
