Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sr. Lead Engineer in SoC Verification to join our team and contribute to the verification of complex SoC designs.
As a Sr. Lead Engineer in SoC Verification, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing verification tasks for cutting-edge SoC projects. You will work closely with design and architecture teams to ensure comprehensive and efficient verification coverage. This role requires a strong background in verification methodologies, hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, and the ability to lead verification efforts from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute detailed verification plans for SoC designs.
Implement and maintain testbenches, simulation models, and test scripts to ensure thorough verification of SoC components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define verification requirements and methodologies.
Drive functional, performance, and power verification across various levels of the SoC design.
Analyse and debug complex design issues, working to resolve them efficiently.
Contribute to verification strategy development, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in SoC verification to continuously improve processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
9+ years of experience in SoC design verification, with a strong understanding of verification methodologies (UVM, OVM, etc.).
Proficiency in verification tools (VCS, Questa, etc.) and languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, etc.).
Experience with low-power verification techniques and power-aware design practices.
Solid understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU, memory, and peripheral integration.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex verification issues.
Demonstrated leadership ability in driving verification efforts and collaborating across teams.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) for verification automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with formal verification methods and tools.
Familiarity with high-speed interface protocols (e.G., PCIe, DDR).
Exposure to hardware-software co-verification and emulation.
