Sr. Manager - Deal Desk & Commercial Sales Operations

Bloom Energy is seeking to add an experienced Senior Manager, Commercial Operations, to the Sales Operations team in Bangalore, India. This individual will oversee the commercial offering process, and associated pricing policies and strategies, for Bloom’s international business. Responsibilities will include tactical coordination of preparing customer proposals, contracts, and system orders with cross-functional teams, as well as collaborating with sales to develop winning strategies including articulation of the winning price & performance parameters aligned to Bloom's capabilities for each qualified opportunity. This role requires excellent coordination and communication skills, and the ability to successfully coordinate internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience creating or delivering high-profile proposals in an enterprise setting, and a track record of process management and improvement.

Lead and mentor a lean team to support the commercial operations for BE’s International Sales Responsible for supporting the preparation of proposals, economic models, contracts, system orders, and conceptualize commercial terms and conditions in close partnership with Bloom’s cross-functional teams in both existing and new countries that Bloom sells in Establish and enforce SLAs (service level agreement) to ensure timely execution of commercial transaction process Own and manage the contractual deviation approval process for international deals Support deal desk process for international deals Establish and maintain streamlined pricing approval processes Evaluate scope, division of responsibility between BE, customers, and other vendors, and determine the price, project schedule, performance guarantee accordingly for each qualified opportunity Coordinate with commercial and operational teams to determine pricing for standard and non-standard solution offerings Ensure seamless handoff from the pre-contracting to post-contracting process Ensure risk controls and SOX compliance are adhered, including appropriate approvals Support Finance organization with recurring and ad-hoc revenue and bookings forecasting Perform quarterly win-loss analysis

Education & Experience · Strong analytical and financial skills · 10 -15 years working within Enterprise Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development · " Deep expertise in the energy industry with an understanding of products and engineered solutions of power machines " · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Bring industry best practices to the role and team to enhance team’s capabilities · Experience in all aspects of management at a senior level in an international business is a plus · Proven track record of coordinating multiple projects, meeting project deadlines, and budgets · Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus to drive developmental and improvement actions
