Job description Job description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with a strong product owner mindset and a background in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of development, delivery, and DevOps expertise, ensuring efficient and effective software development and deployment processes. The Senior Developer will be responsible for leading a small team of outsourced developers, engaging both with the CTO and the CPO (chief product owner) ensuring the delivery of high-quality code, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Help lead a small team of developers, providing guidance, and support. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop, test, and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js and backend applications using CakePHP. Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, refactoring inefficient code, and providing constructive feedback to the development team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to meet client needs. Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure, Github, and appropriate tools. Manage and analyze the performance of the MSSQL database, ensuring data integrity and security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Act as a liaison between the client and the development team, AND scrum Master ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance our development practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on frontend and backend technologies. Proficient in Vue.js, Cake PHP (Python or NodeJS, but must be comfortable with PHP), and MSSQL. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. Desired Attributes: Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality code.
