The group has established the second largest pre-school chain in West Bengal and Tripura and counts some marquee investors such as Aavishkaar Capital, and other Angel investors such as Jayesh Parekh, Vineet Rai etc. as its backers. Within a short span of time, Nalanda was able to establish 83 branches (COCO) and became a household name in eastern part of India specially in West Bengal and Tripura. In March 2020, the whole world shut down and Covid-19 disrupted the entire education system with 90 per cent of the preschools being forced to close their doors resulting in a huge learning gap of students between 2 years to 6 years of age. with a vision to help standalone preschools revive their business and at the same time empower new age edupreneurs to assist in their educational business aspirations.

Objective:

The person should be primarily responsible for: • Identifying and onboarding new channel partners (in our case it is Nalanda Learning Knowledge Partners) • Provide support and training to partners to ensure success. • Manage and drive the performance of existing partners and develop strategies to improve their sales and revenue.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and onboard new channel partners. Provide support and training to partners to ensure success. Manage the performance of existing partners and develop strategies to improve their sales and revenue. Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals. Collaborate with the sales team to align sales and channel efforts. Monitor industry trends and stay up to date on competitors and market conditions. Create and manage channel partner budgets and forecasts. Develop and implement channel partner programs, such as training, marketing, and incentives. Measure and report on the performance of channel partners, using metrics such as sales and revenue. Identify and resolve conflicts and challenges within the channel. Provide support and guidance to partners on product and solution offerings. Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote the company.

Desired Candidate Profile

✓ 5-7 years of experience in channel management or sales ✓ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field ✓ MBA in Sales and Marketing. ✓ Experience in selling SAAS products. ✓ Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software ✓ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders. ✓ Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies ✓ Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners. ✓ Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills. ✓ Time management and organizational skills. ✓ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ✓ Flexibility and adaptability to change. ✓ A desire to learn and grow in the channel management field. ✓ Industry –Tech Product / Education / Retail Sales/Channel Partner or Franchise Partner Manager in Insurance, Investments or Skill Development Institutions/FMCG ✓ He/She should be able to gather Market Intelligence. ✓ Leadership – Practice breakthrough thinking and navigate complex challenges with the team.
