Strategy Consultant

The Stratalis Group is a strategy, innovation and technology consultancy that helps CEO's and leaders of Global 500 organizations to set a future-focused agenda, vision and path to growth. We do this by helping them to design their future vision, technology roadmaps and scans to transform their operations. Our primary focus is in industrial markets, such as mining and natural resources, chemicals and manufacturing. We are seeking full-time consultants to join our India office for work on our global projects. We are currently recruiting for Consultant and Senior Consultant roles in our Strategy and Innovation Practice.

Qualifications

• Advanced graduate degree (e.G., MBA, PhD, etc.) with excellent academic qualifications, preferably in a quantitative discipline, such as engineering, physical sciences, mathematics or related disciplines. Backgrounds in engineering with an MBA valued.
• MBA from Premier Institutes (IIMs, ISB, etc.) or Engineering from top-tier colleges (IITs/NITs/IIITs).
• Depending on the position, at least 5 years of experience in strategy consulting is required. Professional experience in industrial markets (mining, oil and gas, chemicals, etc.) is strongly preferred, especially within major industrials or mining companies.
• Those with engineering backgrounds prior to consulting, are encouraged to apply, as are those with technology roadmapping and strategy experience.
• Entrepreneurial drive with an ability to operate as a self-starter valued.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization and geographies, from North America to Brazil, India and Europe. This includes the ability to work on projects that require flexibility in working hours to suit global clients and teams.
• Ability to break down and solve business problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
• Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint (building intuitive presentations, storyboarding and writing executive summaries) is a must. Proficiency in Excel (dashboarding, advanced formulae, macros) is a good to have.
• Excellent English language skills;
  speaking, reading and writing.

Successful candidates will possess a strong background in top-tier strategy consulting and comfort with the consulting toolkit, including problem definition, hypothesis development, analytics, research and storytelling. A blend of analytical and creative thinking skills is a must . The candidate should be able to fully own, develop and deliver presentations and excel analysis. Stratalis consultants at this level often possess degrees from a top institution and have excelled in their professional careers.
