Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure the quality of our web applications. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems through comprehensive test automation. Key Responsibilities : Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript to validate the functionality of web applications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand product requirements and implement automated testing solutions. Design and implement comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner. Ensure that test coverage is sufficient and that the testing process is automated for CI/CD pipelines. Continuously enhance and optimize automated testing frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage. Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts and contribute to improving testing best practices. Analyze test results, generate test reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to ensure that the testing strategy remains current and effective. Mandatory Skills : Playwright : Hands-on experience with Playwright to develop, maintain, and execute test automation for web applications. TypeScript : Strong proficiency in TypeScript for writing and maintaining clean, maintainable test automation code. Automation Frameworks : Experience with designing and implementing automated test frameworks. CI/CD Integration : Familiarity with integrating automated tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Cross-Browser Testing : Experience with testing across different browsers and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. Desired Skills : Testing Methodologies : Knowledge of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing. API Testing : Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is a plus. Agile/Scrum : Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development processes. Version Control : Experience with version control systems such as Git. Other Test Tools : Familiarity with other automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or JUnit is a plus. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. [ 6 + years] of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation.
