Tax Associate - INDIRECT TAX

Job Title: Tax Associate Job Location: The position is based in Patna, with occasional travel within state districts & divisions. Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Tax Associate—a role demanding a high level of motivation and expertise. Your primary responsibility is to provide support to senior team members in the realm of indirect taxation, with a key focus on GST. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of GST laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to client projects. Additionally, you will be involved in diverse tasks such as accounting and income tax filings. Responsibilities:  Collaborate with senior team members on indirect taxation matters, emphasizing GST.  Ensure GST compliance and punctual return filing, staying abreast of changes in GST laws and regulations.  Analyze the GST impact on various client projects, offering recommendations to senior team members.  Conduct research on various indirect tax impacts, contributing to strategic advice for clients.  Coordinate with clients and internal teams, gathering necessary data for tax compliance and advisory projects.  Assist in tasks like ROC filings, accounting, and income tax filings as required. Requirements:  Thorough understanding of indirect tax laws and regulations, especially GST.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and mitigating risks for clients.  Proficiency in MS-Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, enabling the preparation and presentation of reports.  Effective English communication skills, conveying tax concepts to clients and stakeholders. Qualifications:  Commerce graduate with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Masters/CA Appeared will be a plus.
