TREDS is in the business of opening accounts, uploading, accepting, discounting and settlement of Invoices and Bills of Exchange by way of Factoring and Reverse Factoring and provide such other services as permitted by the RBI from time-to-time.

Key deliverables :


As a Taxation Specialist you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our tax compliance and strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations, while also contributing to the accounting function

  • Tax Compliance & tax remittance :
    Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes, assessment & scrutiny, GL reconciliation SOP/Documentation.
  • Compliance Management :
    Maintain compliance with all tax laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with any changes, appeals, Handling audit.
  • Notice & Legal Compliance :
    Handle notices and legal compliance matters efficiently and proactively, .
  • Tax Efficiency :
    Identify opportunities for tax savings, credits, deductions, and incentives.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping :
    Maintain organized tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
  • Audit:
    Handle statutory audit/ group audit/ GST audit/ TAX audit/ Department audit, prepare data for submission against the notice, audit, SCN, scrutiny etc.
  • Prepare cross charge, resolve GST, TDS, Equalisation leavy invoice query and client query.
  • Prepare Journal entries and ensure reconciliation is completed on monthly basis. ITC reversal working on stock transfer and scrape sale
  • Provide input for system implementation due to changes in law. Work on automation.
  • Checking of 2A/2B/6A Input credit reconciliation files, resolve vendor invoice queries, Finalise ITC for 3B return availment, RCM working
  • Calculation of advance tax, Provision for tax, deferred tax working.
  • TDS Payment:
    Checking TDS data from MIS, prepare challan make payment, advance tax challan preparation, professional tax payment, equalisation leavy payment, section 206 PAN verification, TDS on provision tracking for knock off, LDC tracking, co-ordinating for 15CA/CB certification.
  • TDS return, equalisation return/ form 60/ SFT/ FATCA/CRS

Required:

  • Chartered Accountant
  • 3-5 years of experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation, preferably in the BFSI Sector.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in handling tax notices and legal compliance.


Additional Information:

  • The role includes a significant focus on taxation (75-80%) and accounting (20%)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is beneficial.
