Our immigration team is the largest and most experienced in New Zealand, providing employers with Immigration Strategy and visa advice for their employees.Tasks include (but is not limited to):• Excavator Operators are responsible for opera-ng heavy machinery (includingbackhoes, bulldozers, rollers, and graders) to dig, transfer and load soil, rock,debris and rubble from one place to another.• Maintain equipment in a condi-on that does not compromise safety.• Follow all Health and Safety and compliance procedures and report accordingly.• Choosing, fiXng, and removing aYachments including buckets, scoops, blades,and rock breaking hammers so as to excavate, move and load earth, rubble, dirtand other materials.• Safely opera-ng machinery by adjus-ng manual and hydraulic controls toregulate force, pace, and flow.• Consul-ng and working with other construc-on, building and industryprofessionals to successfully complete a job.RequirementsAbout you: • Must have worked in different street environments not just bulk earthworks.• Must have experience of digging up footpaths avoiding cables.• Overseas experience• Proven experience and understanding of Health and Safety and the hazards ofopera-ng on construc-on sites.• A good level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role• Able to pass a Drug test.• A solu-on-focused aXtude, with strong forward planning and adaptability.• Must have a good level of spoken and wriYen English.• Have good customer rela-on skills, remaining calm and controlled even when the pressure is on.Please Note:• Excavator operators have a work to residence pathway.BenefitsGood Salary Immigration support
