Ltd. is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join its dynamic team. This role is essential for supporting the organization's data management needs, contributing to various research and evaluation projects across multiple sectors, including public health, nutrition, and environmental studies. Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Accurately enter, update, and maintain data in databases and spreadsheets. Ensure that all data entries are correct and consistent with source documents. Document Preparation: Gather, collate, and prepare documents for data entry. This includes conducting research to fill in gaps in incomplete documents. Quality Control: Review all data entries for accuracy and completeness. Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in the data. Reporting: Generate reports and summaries from databases as required by project teams. Assist in creating visual representations of data for presentations. Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining organized records of documents. Monitor office supplies and assist with other administrative tasks as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of data-related tasks. Communicate effectively regarding project updates and any issues encountered. Qualifications: Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred. Experience: Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is advantageous, ideally within a research or consultancy environment. Skills: Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
